Valentines Cookies

These valentines cookies are awesome

My mother taught me how to make these cookies many years ago as almond and lemon cookies that used egg yolks left over from making meringue based cookies. No flour is used so these are nice gluten free cookies.

German cookies with gentle sweetness, traditionally called 'Zitronen Hertz', always cut in heart shapes--great for your valentine this Valentines Day.

Forget chocolates for your valentine, they will LOVE these almond cookies!
